On August 7, 2008 the 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Chicago ruled that Indiana
customers must now have a face-to-face customer verification form on file in order to have wine
shipped to them. This form confirms that you are 21 years of age, have presented a valid ID as
proof of age in person at the initial face-to face visit required by this new law.
Chateau Thomas Winery customers can fill out this form while visiting our tasting room in
Plainfield, Fishers, or Nashville, Indiana or one of our outside events or festivals.
Indiana law states that wine consumers may not receive more than 24 cases per year
(from all wineries) from direct shipping.
Varietal wines can only be sold in Indiana, however shipments outside of Indiana of Chateau Thomas Winery’s’ non-varietal offerings are available via VinoShipper.com, Binnys.com, EmpireWine.com and InternetWines.com.
