During the 2006 Legislative session, House Bill 1016 was passed allowing Indiana wineries to ship wine to Indiana.
However, there are several stipulations that must be met.
- If you have not received wine from Chateau Thomas prior to April 1, 2006, you must physically visit the winery in Plainfield or the Nashville Tasting Room and Gift Shoppe and provide your name, Indiana address, phone number, and proof of age in writing. Postcards are available at both locations for your convenience.
- If you have purchased wine from Chateau Thomas prior to April 1, 2006, we can continue shipping to you without visiting one of our locations, but it will be necessary for you to fill out a form confirming that you have visited our location(s) and bought wine in the past.

- The new law also states that wine consumers may not receive more than 24 cases per year (from all wineries) from direct shipping.
We can still ship to several states. Click here for a list of states that we are permitted to ship our wines.
We are grateful to the lawmakers who worked with us in passing legislation in allowing wineries to ship to customers in Indiana.
